Refund window

If Hearsay Pro isn’t right for you, you can get a full refund within 14 days of payment. This applies to the first payment and to automatic renewals. You don’t need to give a reason.

After 14 days the payment isn’t refunded, but you can cancel the subscription at any time. Pro keeps working until the end of the paid month, and you won’t be charged again. If Pro didn’t work because of a bug on our side that we couldn’t fix, we’ll refund you after 14 days too.

How to request a refund

• Go to paddle.net, find your order by the email you used at checkout and request a refund.
• Or write to support@gethearsay.app with the email the order was placed with. You can simply reply to the receipt email from Paddle.

Paddle refunds the payment method you used. How long it takes to reach your card depends on your bank, usually up to 10 business days.

After the refund

The subscription is canceled and Pro is turned off. Your recordings and transcripts stay on your Mac, and the free version keeps working.

Right of withdrawal in the EU and UK

If you live in the EU, EEA, Switzerland or the UK, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days. This policy gives you the same period, so a refund within 14 days is available in every case. Refunds are also subject to Paddle’s refund policy.

Abuse

We may decline a refund if we see abuse, such as repeated purchases and refunds in a row.

App Store purchases

If you subscribed to Pro on the Mac App Store, Apple handles payments and refunds, and we have no access to them. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. See Apple’s instructions for details.
